Chrome extension development, turnkey

We design, build, test and publish Chrome extensions, and write the store listing so people find them. One team from the first idea to the Chrome Web Store and the updates after.

  • Manifest V3
  • TypeScript
  • Playwright e2e
  • 52 store languages

What we do

  • Idea and keyword research

Before any code, we check search demand and competitors in the Chrome Web Store and on Google with Semrush data, and pick the name and keyword the extension can rank for.

  • Manifest V3 development

Popups, side panels, content scripts, context menus, background service workers and files processed offline in the browser. Minimal permissions and no remote code.

  • Automated testing

Unit tests plus end-to-end tests that load the real extension in Chrome with Playwright, and accessibility checks in light and dark themes. Our DNS Propagation Checker ships with 217 unit and 33 end-to-end tests.

  • Store listing SEO

Name, short and full description built around real search terms and translated into all 52 Chrome Web Store languages, with screenshots, promo tiles and icons.

  • Privacy and review

Permission justifications, data-use answers and a privacy policy that describe exactly what the code does, written before you press Submit.

  • Launch and updates

Publishing, a welcome page, UTM-tagged links, answers to reviews and updates when Chrome or the sites your extension works on change.

Questions and answers

How much does a Chrome extension cost?

It depends on the scope. A single-purpose popup tool and an extension with a server, payments and support for several sites are very different projects. Send us a short description and we reply with an estimate and a timeline.

Can you work on an extension that already exists?

Yes: Manifest V3 migration, bug fixes, tests, new features, and listing SEO for extensions that are already published.

Will it work in Edge and Firefox?

Microsoft Edge runs Chrome extensions. Firefox needs some changes to the manifest and APIs, which we can plan in from the start.

Do you guarantee a top position in the Chrome Web Store?

No one can honestly promise that. We choose keywords from real search data, write the listing for them and track the positions after launch.

What do you need to start?

A few lines about what the extension should do and for whom. A link to a competitor or a sketch helps but isn't required.
